Globe and Mail editorial cites my “dead man walking” take on CUSMA

The lead editorial in the December 20, 2025 edition of the Globe and Mail cites my assessment that the Canada-U.S.-Mexico Agreement will not survive in its current form as a free trade arrangement between sovereign equals, and predicts that 2026 will bring significant turmoil to Canada’s economy as we are forced to adjust to the post-free trade era.
