The methods that German far - right extremists use to distort public debate on immigration can be found within Canadian media environments as well. On October 24, 2023 . I organized a conference in Calgary in which we compared disinformation trends in different liberal democracies. This is a concrete step toward a pattern of mutual learning between democracies on shared challenges and how inclusive, pluralist democracies can best meet them
